geographers, the Caucuses are one of the most ethnically complex
regions in the world. This show explores the entire southern
flanks of the Caucuses including the former soviet republics
of Azerbaijan and Georgia. From the linguistically isolated
mountainous village of Xinalug in Eastern Azerbaijan to the
war torn breakaway republic of S. Ossetia and on to the spectacular
medieval defense towers of Ushguli in Georgia and on to the
war-torn breakaway republic of S. Ossetia, your eyes will
be opened to a region unknown to the outside world.
